Reported here are new data on the structural and catalytic properties of a series mono-component cobalt bi-component Co–Ce catalysts supported SBA-15 (Santa Barbara Amorphous-15)). The performance has been evaluated by tests combustion methane, propane, n-hexane. It was established that preparation ‘two-solvent’ technique does not significantly change mesoporous structure, however, its pores clogging with Co Ce guest species. Cobalt cerium uniformly distributed preferentially fill up channels SBA-15, but oxide agglomerates located surface observed as well. highest activity sample is explained higher reducibility result lower interaction SBA-15. fine dispersion their strong in molecular sieve, leads to formation difficult-to-reduce phases and, consequently, compared monocomponent catalyst. synthesised structure can prevent agglomeration particles, thus leading successful development stable catalyst for decreasing greenhouse gas emissions.
